Concept News: à la Film Noir era
Here are some designs for a future episode of "The Adventures of Hello Kitty and Friends"! The story takes place in the 1950s, à la Film Noir era. The locations represented in these drawings are: A bakery and a private eye’s office.

Concept art is created after the storyboards are complete. The storyboarder figures out what locations and props are needed in the story, and makes a rough indication of those items in the storyboards. The concept artist takes those roughs and refines them — first by researching the styles requested, then designing, adding details and color along the way!
