Nowadays, ‘made in Hong Kong’ animations are actually as outstanding as those Japanese production; ‘The Adventures of Hello Kitty and Friends’ is a good example. ‘I am honored to be working with the animation team. Everyone is very talented and it’s a pleasure to work with them everyday’, Howard said. Most of the animators of this animation come from various Institutes in Hong Kong; and there are several from oversea.

So, what’s the skill set required to become an animator? According to Howard, there are many requirements to become an animator. The most important one is to have the passion for animation. It takes a lot of practices and observations. This is not something that can be achieved over night. Therefore an animator should have patience and should be hardworking.
